From Ralph: Last week we welcomed Tim Brown to El Rancho Relaxo to sit in on a Weekend show and we talked him into sticking around for a Riverside Profile interview. Tim is my oldest friend...we can trace a common line all the way back to Room K1 at Victoria School. Through the years we've both had opportunity to work at the things we love...and Tim's work has taken him on his own completely individual set of adventures and trials. In 2009 Tim experienced a simple and sudden health emergency that suspended (and then eliminated) a happy and prosperous lifestyle. It's a harrowing story that is uniquely American...a 'free market' disaster that could happen to any of us. The better news is that all of this didn't keep Tim down. After a long struggle back to good health he has collected his new opportunities and victories into a strong rebound that has landed him back on the air at the Inland Empire's KCAL-FM and KOLA-FM. It was a real treat have Tim on the shows and Patrick and I look forward to another visit soon!
